Season 1 was the first season of ETF2L's 6v6 competition. It used the same rules from the ETF2L Starting Cup, which were mostly voted by the community. The main season began on January 8th, 2008 and ended in March 2008. It started off with 4 skill based divisions, two of which had one sub division (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B). Each division consisted of 8 to 9 teams. Teams had to pick a home map against each opponent before the season started, which added another tactical element. There was a trailer made for the competition and organization.[1]
