There are many different maps played in the various competitive formats TF2. Game modes such as 5CP, King of the Hill, Payload, and Attack/Defend are the most prevalent, as they have been the most tested through and consistent types of maps. In addition to official maps released by Valve, there are also Pro variations of some official maps as well as several community maps that are considered competitive maps.
