Xiao had experienced many different roster changes throughout the seasons, but their most notable change was during [[PURE League Season 2]] when the late [[Beyond The Summit TF2]] event was announced. Legendary player [[teejay]] and former Scout main [[banana]] who were both from [[SVIFT AS]] joined the roster in preparation for the event. The team also managed to pick up 2 top Australian players from [[MMGP]] in the form of Demoman [[enrith]] and Medic [[lock]]. This version of the roster was widely regarded to be the best iteration of Xiao across its previous rosters, convincingly dominating the highest division while only dropping 2 rounds the entire season. This would have also been the very first time an Asian team is represented at an international TF2 event.

Following a 3-1 victory in the grand finals of AsiaFortress Cup 19, Xiao opted to skip the next AsiaFortress season for the first time in the team's history. Captain AiShou and mainstays 26 and tommy would all opt to retire after spending many years on top. The remains of Xiao would end up as substitutes for runner-up team McBlurry eSports, where they would subsequently claim first in AsiaFortress Cup 20. This season would be the first where Xiao would not stand atop the podium since 2017.

After the AsiaFortress format was redone from the ground up and the introduction of the new AsiaFortress Invite events, the Xiao moniker would once again be picked up in the hands of former Xiao players Teejay and Banana.
