BBall is a 2v2 competitive format for Team Fortress 2. BBall is played with two teams of two Soldiers in a fast-paced, DM-focused gamemode similar to MGE that affords players an opportunity to hone their rocket jumping and projectile aim. The mod is solely played on small, custom-made maps that are for the most part functionally identical.
The mod is largely played casually, with a focus on training a players' movement and aim. Hence, BBall is featured in a large number of MGE maps and organised BBall competitions are relatively uncommon. Nonetheless, BBall has been played competitively in a number of regions since its inception in early 2008.
