The New Map Cup is a tournament hosted by teamfortress.tv and sponsored by marketplace.tf. It features 8 maps not commonly played in leagues with the intent of gaining feedback for the creators. Teams include 5 invited [[ESEA_Season_24/Invite|ESEA Season 24 Invite]] teams ([[froyotech]],  [[EVL Gaming]],  [[mario party 4]],  [[fishy fishes]], and  [[Team Skull]]) as well as 27 open signup slots. It will be held on the 25th and 26th of February, 2017.
