BlackOut TV is a dormant video production organisation dedicated to covering competitive Team Fortress 2 action for many events. Although initially starting out covering 6v6 and Highlander gamemodes across Europe, over time they moved to solely focus on Highlander across the scene. They had many streams and event castings per week, ranging from ETF2L Premiership and UGC Platinum. BlackOut TV was co-created between Jonathan "Jon" Shaw and Russian Guyovich as a subsidiary organisation of Gaming before they ceased services in December 2014. The organization continued with the same name after it's parent organization ceased operations.

""BlackOut Gaming is an organization dedicated to bringing high quality servers to the players of our chosen games; these include Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2 Death Match, and Left 4 Dead 2 servers. We are committed to providing an atmosphere that is fun, but also breeds healthy competition amongst the player ranks; we therefore support but ideals of culture in online games – the competitive nature, where players aspire to prove they can best one another – but also the idea that a game is a game, and players should be able to sustain a level of enjoyment from that game.

With these ideals in mind, we provide a number of Team Fortress 2 servers (our favourite game) that include the vanilla game modes but also host servers with an array of community generated content that we feel improves the overall experience. There’s no clear dichotomy of fun server and competitive server with BlackOut, but a spectrum that spans across our servers; we feel that you’ll be able to find a place and home (at least in your online games) on at least one of our many servers.

Particularly with the competitive ideal in mind, we also have involvement with broadcasting ETF2L (tournament and competitive Team Fortress 2) matches through the BlackOut subsidiary BlackOut TV. We’re proud as a community to support competitive play, and feel that our TV subsidiary provides a high quality service that’s also enjoyable for those that aren’t quite involved with competition, but still hold respect for these skilled individuals’ endeavours.""
