The format of TFCL runs all four major competitive formats of Highlander, 6v6, 4v4, and Ultiduo. TFCL is currently in it's first few seasons running, with 6v6 on it's first season, and Ultiduo to start it's second season in March of 2017. Teams play against others with similar skill levels and rankings, to promote fair and balanced gameplay between competitors. Unlike other leagues, TFCL offers cash prizes for winners of said formats for no entry fee at the start. TFCL also does offer in-game participation medals for players whom are rostered to a team.
