The New Map Cup is a tournament hosted by teamfortress.tv and sponsored by marketplace.tf. It features 8 maps not commonly played in leagues with the intent of gaining feedback for the creators. Teams include 5 invited ESEA Season 24 Invite teams (froyotech, EVL Gaming, mario party 4, fishy fishes, and Team Skull) as well as 27 open signup slots. It will be held on the 25th and 26th of February, 2017.

• The map pools for the group stage are:

    • The order of the draft is ban, ban, and then the remaining map will be played.

• The playoffs will utilize the full map pool, with the order of the draft being ban, ban, pick, pick, ban, ban, and a randomizer deciding the final map from the remaining two maps.
