The Scattergun is a stock primary weapon that is usable by the Scout, and is allowed in both 6v6 and 9v9 competitive formats across almost every league. This weapon is considered to be most commonly used by Scouts than any other primary weapon available in the competitive environment. The Scattergun(commonly referred to as "Scatter") is famous for dealing out Meatshots.
History
The Scattergun is a stock weapon for the Scout class. The weapon was introduced with the release of Team Fortress 2.
