BRASIL FORTRESS is a South American TF2 competitive community created and maintained by the South-American community with the main purpose of helping more casual players to join the competitive side of Team Fortress 2. Throughout the years and together with HorizonTV, many South American players joined the late Competitive Scene in those years due events like: Open Six, Newbie Pugs and the TF2 Academy School. Hosting 6v6, Halloween Prolander, Jump Cup, BBall and Ultiduo cups.

History

After many years of bad administration in the South American Team Fortress 2 leagues, a group of players decided to create a space where newcomers could learn and grow in the competitive scene. The TF2 community suffered numerous DDOS attacks that time, and much of the community was held hostage by the poor management of other leagues, which did not allow for the development of newcomers.

With this idea in mind, Brasil Fortress was created. Initially, they organized two test seasons with the support of TF2 veterans and good players of the community, aiming to create a more welcoming environment conducive to the growth of new talents. This initiative was so successful that the league was opened to the public a bit after and established new ways to develop new players in the competitive scene.

Today, Brasil Fortress stands out as a pillar in the TF2 community in South America, promoting not only fair and balanced competitions but also workshops, training sessions, and events that encourage continuous learning and improvement for players worldwide.
