Rulesets, configs and maplist[edit]

The cup will use the last ETF2L Ultiduo cup ruleset and configs (note: we will not be using etf2l cup whitelist so make sure when setting up the server to use the official cup whitelist.

We recommend players to use serveme.tf to reserve the servers in advance for the cup, simply choose the correct config for the Server Config option and Whitelist.tf (custom whitelist) for the Item whitelist option, Whitelist.tf ID is 598.

ETF2L configs can be downloaded here

Team/Player Restrictions[edit]

  • This is a european cup, as such, only european teams will be eligible for the cup
  • Teams are free to use mercs for their matches as long as they warn the admin of the cup previously and their opponent accepts the merc.

Prizes[edit]

We have partnered with tf2pickup.net and whitelist.tf and all the item prizes in the cup (minus the keys) are being provided by them.

The prizepool is dependent on the number of sign-ups but the distribution will be as follows:

  • 1st Place: 60% of the total signup keys
    • Soldier: Strange Disciplinary Action
    • Medic: Specialized Killstreak Crusader's Crossbow Kit
  • 2nd Place: 30% of the total signup keys
    • Soldier: Specialized Killstreak Disciplinary Action Kit
    • Medic: Specialized Killstreak Ubersaw Kit
  • 3rd Place: 10% of the total signup keys
    • Soldier: Killstreak Escape Plan Kit
    • Medic: Killstreak Ubersaw Kit

Note: Teams have 15 minutes tolerance to show up for a match, if you can't contact the opposite team after 15 minutes you should talk to Kaneco on steam, from then it will be given a default loss to that team if they still don't respond.

Servers[edit]

How to setup a serveme.tf server for the cup

Refer to the Rules section of the cup to know which config and map to use. We recommend players to use serveme.tf to reserve the servers in advance for the cup, simply choose the correct config for the Server Config option and Whitelist.tf (custom whitelist) for the Item whitelist option, Whitelist.tf ID is 598. See the image on the right for an example of a correct set-up.

Players are free to use their personal servers as long as they have the correct settings.

Note: From the semi-finals onwards every match will be played on servers provided by us.

Reporting results[edit]

Players should report their own scores through the challonge cup page on the brackets (click '?' links next to your game) and submit with an attached screenshot and the full result (ie 2-1, not 1-0), after that an admin will review the result submitted and approve it as soon as possible.

Refer to this image on how to submit the results

Sign-Up[edit]

The sign up price is 2 keys per team, the key should be traded to the steam user below at the time of signup, we will also require your e-mail or challonge username to invite you to the cup, keep in mind the user invited to the cup on challonge will be the one updating the results from their matches.

You should also have in hand the steam profile links of both the players in your team and the desired team name.

To sign-up for this cup you should add Kaneco on steam.

(Please make sure you are adding and trading the correct user)

Practice / Testing[edit]

We recommend using the TF2Pickup ultiduo pickups to practice.

Stream and VODs[edit]

As usual we will be streaming and casting all the matches from the semi-finals onwards, watch live on our twitch channel and the recorded VODs over on our youtube channel linked below:

Feedback / Suggestions[edit]

Use the Talk page if you have any feedback.

Alternatively if you have any questions feel free to contact me (kaneco) through my talk page on the wiki or add me on steam
