Teamfortress.tv New Map Cup
North America 
The New Map Cup is a tournament hosted by teamfortress.tv and sponsored by marketplace.tf. It features 8 maps not commonly played in leagues with the intent of gaining feedback for the creators. Teams include 5 invited ESEA Season 24 Invite teams (froyotech, EVL Gaming, mario party 4, fishy fishes, and Team Skull) as well as 27 open signup slots. It will be held on the 25th and 26th of February, 2017.
Tournament Format
The group stage consists of 32 teams divided into four groups of eight. The teams will compete in a swiss system format, where each team will be paired with another team with the same record in each round. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. All matches are best of one's.
The playoffs are a eight team single-elimination bracket. All matches are best of three's (including the 3rd place match and the Grand Finals).
