froyotech is an ESEA-I team founded in ESEA Season 16, and is considered one of the best teams of all time. It had consisted of the core of the HRG team from Seasons S13 and S14 as well as iT from S15. After their victory at i52, they were widely regarded as the best team in the world, especially due to their subsequent victories in ESEA-I Season 17, ESEA-I Season 18 and Season 19. In August 2015, froyotech won the TF2 Tournament at i55 after a Grand Final match against NerdRage.tf2, cementing a second victory in a row at the Insomnia Summer LAN. The team disbanded on Nov 24, 2015 due to players' loss of interest in the game as well as a Lower Bracket Final loss to TSU. froyotech later reformed with members from Strawberry Mangos, and later clockwork rejoining the team.

froyotech's best roster for ESEA-I Season 21. After the previous rostered players lost interest in playing for the team, b4nny took over most of Strawberry Mangoes's roster from ESEA-I Season 20. The roster initially started with Decimate and corsa, b4nny on pocket and paddie on roamer, and Freestate on Medic. Clockwork stepped back into froyotech after Decimate left due to personal issues. The team also later tried b4nny on Scout, paddie pocket, and corsa switched to roamer.[1], notably defeating RONIN gg. Due to incompatible playing styles, corsa was removed from the roster. His position as scout was taken by Freestate, whose role as Medic was picked up by ninjanick, who joined the team from Team SoloUber.[2] b4nny and paddie frequently swapped roles during the post-season playoffs, seeing the most success out of the roster with b4nny on Pocket. This iteration of the team won ESEA-I Season 21 after returning from a loss against RONIN gg in the winner's finals.
