DeutschLAN 2016 was the second iteration of DeutschLAN. The event was held at MTA in Nieheim, Germany on the 9th to 11th of September, 2016. DeutschLAN 2016 featured ten of Europe's Highlander teams, including Season 10's ETF2L Premiership champions Strong Opinions.

After having to cover certain expenses out of the initial prize pool, no prize money was paid out directly. Instead, the winning teams agreed on donating the remaining amount of roughly €400 to Tip of the Hats 2016.
