TF2 Connexion (TF2C) is a French community website, hosting mainly Team Fortress 2 6v6 competitions including many others cups and events. TF2 Connexion was created on August 27th 2010.

Format

TF2 Connexion is currently on its tenth 6v6 season, its third as Championnat (Championship) format.

The Championnat format consist of different skill levels, split up into tiers of divisions (Elite, Pro and Amateur). Divisions usually have a size of 4-5 teams. A season usually consists of 3-5 weeks of regular matches, and 4 weeks of playoffs.

The first seven season use the following league scheme, it is split up into 5 divisions, each with its own system of promotions and relegations. Divisions usually have a size of 6 or 8 teams. An old season usually consists of 5 or 7 weeks of matches.

Matches usually consist of two maps, each lasting 30 minutes. The following win conditions are used:

  • On 5CP maps, the map ends once the time limit runs out or one of the teams scores 5 more points than the opponent.
  • King of the Hill maps are played in a best of 5 format (first to 3 wins), without a time limit.
