The ruleset and whitelist for Rewind LAN 2017 is a new setup between the other tournaments, with the Global Whitelist in effect, but with a new ruleset announced by b4nny, with the goal to compromise between the European scene and the North American scene.

Coverage is handled by Esports Arena, b4nny, and samiface with initial lineup include Bren, eXtine, Getawhale, kaidus, MRSLIN, and truktruk.[1] The complete production team finally revealed by samiface on the 8th of January, 2017 with caster Dreamboat, Ma3la, and TheFragile with observers mathsad and Tino[2].

The Rewind LAN ruleset was announced by b4nny on 19 December, 2016[3], but the 45 minute on 5CP maps was eventually toned down back to 30 minutes due to time constraints.
