DreamHack Summer 2016 will commence on 18 June 2016 and conclude the following day. The tournament will be held in a double-elimination format with all matches played in a best of three, except for the grand final which will be played in a best of five.

The participating teams were announced June 5, 2016.^[1] SUAVE and Serpents, winners of qualifier 2 and qualifier 4 respectively, were both unable to attend the event. Comfortably Spanked and Crowns eSports Club were invited to the event in their places.

Only nameLess will be competing with the same lineup as used in the concurrent ETF2L 6v6 Season 24.^[2] Both Crowns eSports Club and Perilous Gaming will be using backup players from their roster,^[3]^[4] while Comfortably Spanked have subbed in Setlet from PC MASTER RACE for the event.^[5]
