Season 1 was the first season of ETF2L's 6v6 competition. The main season began on January 8th, 2008. It started off with 4 skill based divisions, two of which had one sub division (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B). Each division consisted of 8 to 9 teams. Teams had to pick a home map against each opponent before the season started, which added another tactial element.
