Competitive Team Fortress 2

In Competitive TF2 there are two main game modes: Highlander (9 vs 9) and Sixes (6 vs 6). Although these two game modes are the most common, they are not the only ones. Many members of the community make their own game modes, such as Ultiduo, BBall, Dodgeball and many others.

Highlander

In the game mode Highlander there are two teams of 9 players each, one of every class. In a Highlander or HL match, teams play a variety of maps and modes, such as: Payload, Control Points and King of the Hill. Highlander is played in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The two main leagues for Highlander are UGC Highlander, for North America(and some EU) and ETF2 League, for Europe.
