The Spire was an organization and website that provided news and analysis of events as well as opinion pieces about players, teams and the history of Team Fortress 2. The organization was founded in early 2016 by Buttnose, a top level European player. The site planned to expand into casting and provide coverage of games across multiple regions, skill levels and formats.
Sideshow was arguably the person who wrote the bulk of articles on The Spire and was notably inactive when he left for over.gg.
The site went offline sometime between late 2016 and 2017, estimating by last their last activity on twitter and a post on teamfortress.tv.
