Efefknee, I was wondering if this new design/style to the infoboxes is going to be permanent. Personally, I would prefer the old style because it's more traditional to wikis in general. I've been working on a [[Template:Garlicbox|new map infobox also]], which is just the old style with a black header (and some more info/headers), and was wondering if I should change it to fit this new style or just keep it as it is. Leave a message on my talk/discussion page for a reply, for now I'll just keep using the current style and implement it into some of the maps. Cheers --[[User:Garlic|garlic]] ([[User talk:Garlic|talk]]) 6:38, 22 July 2015 (GMT)

Cool (: thanks for the reply. I'll keep working on a new map infobox using the your new style, but with a black header. I'll implement the element into most of the map pages on the site once I'm finished. I've used a lot of your code for some of the other new infoboxes in my one to try and make them as similar as possible. If you've got anything to add just contact or add to it yourself c: . Thanks again for the reply --[[User:Garlic|garlic]] ([[User talk:Garlic|talk]]) 11:43pm, 22 July 2015 (GMT)

== Re: Re: Re: Re: New Infoboxes ==

Hi Efefknee, just wanted to let you know that I’ve stopped working on a new map infobox, incase this was stopping/discouraging you from creating your own map infobox. The code was too advanced for me, and if you make it (if you plan to make one) I think it’ll fit better with the other new infoboxes you created and you’re more qualified. I might get back to it sometime into the future, but here is the skeleton I had with my template:<br />

*'''''Title'''''

** ''Header (First column)''

** ''(Additional Info)''<br />

* '''Map Name'''

** Picture

* '''Basic Information'''

** Map Type

*** (If ‘Control Point’, specify with ‘(5CP)’)

** Current Version

** Developer(s)

** No. of Stages/No. of Checkpoints

** Release Date

** Officially Added/Official Map

** Download Link

* '''Competitive Information'''

** Primary Format(s)

** Strong Classes/Weak Classes

* '''Map Items'''

** Health/Ammo

Hope the skeleton gives you some ideas if you were making a map infobox <br />

Also good work on having the most changes on the wiki :) [[User:Garlic|garlic]] ([[User talk:Garlic|talk]]) 08:25, 25 July 2015 (UTC)

:Glad to see it wasn't stopping you, but regardless it's a bit too much for me; especially after seeing the code for your new infobox templates! Of course I'll get back to it if I need to, you're free to do anything to it you want to; move it, change the code, add/remove stuff etc. The time put into it was actually really good for learning how to use some of the parameters properly, so not all of it has gone to waste!

:As for [[Template:Abbr]], the intended use is to show the details of an abbreviation as a tooltip, but when I used it in my new map infobox it had an unnecessary space character. The template is literally [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Abbr copy-pasted out of Wikipedia], so I'm sure there are a few more problems with it, but I think a better alternative is installing [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Lingo this MediaWiki extension], [[User_talk:Kaneco#MediaWiki_extension:_Lingo | which I've already posted on Kaneco's talk page about]]. Thanks too for offering help! It's a really miniscule issue and it may just be an issue with my map infobox template.

:PS: sorry for deleting from your talk page :P

Thanks! This is a great idea. There are a few other things I have yet to do with it, and I’ll definitely put this in. Also sorry about not replying for Template:Abbr, it seems to be working now, as you said. I’ll check for errors if I get back to it. :D

== 6sTeamCard/Froyotechi55 ==

Hi Efefknee (ffc?), from what b4nny told me, Froyotech are undecided on what classes ash and b4nny are playing (between scout and pocket) for i55, but they are not trying out any other players. Just to let you know I created [[Template:6sTeamCard/Froyotechi55]] (and a /doc version) that just adds some text on the end saying the TBD players are only ash/b4nny (this is only used for the [[Insomnia55]] page), rather than leaving it at just "TBD". I'm not 100% sure if there is a way for me to do this already with the current template, but if there isn't, I thought a good idea would be to have a type of reference or note option to add to the end of a player name. Up to you though! --[[User:Garlic|garlic]] ([[User talk:Garlic|talk]]) 05:18, 6 August 2015 (UTC) <br />

PS: Congrats on becoming the top contributor :)

: Cool, I added a note and removed the "{{abbr | TBD | To be determined}}". --[[User:Garlic|garlic]] ([[User talk:Garlic|talk]]) 22:59, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

To be fair, I should probably be the one thanking you, seeing you did a lion's share of the work in the matter of preparations for the event, while I've been slacking and just waltzed in when the event started — I hope I didn't step on your toes in any way. You are doing a superb job on the wiki, thanks for the immense contribution all around! —[[User:Atlas|Atlas]] ([[User talk:Atlas|talk]]) 17:54, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Thanks, I'm going to register as 'b33p' and hopefully that capital B override thing can happen! (I have no idea how to properly edit wikis)!

Just wanted to pop round to say a huge thanks for fixing up a lot of my missteps with the DreamHack page/featured article! I hope I wasn't being too intrusive; I've still got a bunch of stuff to learn on what should and shouldn't be added and it's really awesome of you to take the time to patch up my mistakes. You're really what keeps this wiki going!

Hey!

Thanks, I really enjoy editing the wiki, please let me know if there's anything I'm doing wrong or whatever, I don't know much about how the wiki works.

And thanks for the heads up about the categories, I had suspected it might but I did it anyway. :)

I've just [http://comp.tf/wiki/ETF2L_6v6_Season_24/Premiership#Detailed_Results updated] the ETF2L S24 prem page with all the matches, but now it appeared 3 expression errors that i don't know how to fix...

== question about specific team page ==

Hello,

I was wondering if i would be able to integrate the old and new team infused pages into one page as well as update the format to go with the new team layout. Would it be best to copy the rosters from the old team infused page and add them to the new team infused one. Also what would happen to the old infused page if I integrated it all to the newer one?

== Player awards ==

What's the policy behind the removal of player awards from HL season pages 9 & 10? [[ETF2L_Highlander_Season_7|season 7]] and [[ETF2L_Highlander_Season_8|8]] feature awards as well, so I figured: yeah, it's actually information worth providing.

== Re: Team Templates ==

yo,<br>

are you referring to the <nowiki>link=</nowiki> parameter in the team icon file specifications or to regular <nowiki>[[team page links]]</nowiki>?<br>

there are only 4 or 5 actual teams competing at deutschlan anyway. the rest will be one time wonders, considering 'relevant linking', so I skipped it.

== Re: Very small difference between stock and pro Map League Inclusion Tables ==

Thanks for telling me what was wrong. Would it make sense to just include the appropriate links for each map version? It is a mostly redundant template and will make keeping the table up to date easier

== Question regarding CRAZYBWAII Clan ==

Hey!

I created the CRAZYBWAII Clan team page, can I change anything to improve it?

Why is it along with VIBRVNCY still marked for deletion?

Thanks

== Lemmings Changes ==

Hey so I  produced some form of a bio for Lemmings which briefly covered some notable points of their history. Would this be enough for it to not get deleted or is there more to be done?

Cheers,

== Question ==

Are there any plans (or previous) to have some sort of settings plugins for player pages? I'm thinking of the ones similar to the "Gear and Settings" sections on the CS:GO liquipedia. We could maybe make a habit of including player cfg links on player profiles.

== TF2 Liquipedia ==

So this popped up recently http://wiki.teamliquid.net/teamfortress/Main_Page

Was there any prior knowledge to this existing and are there potential ideas for integration?

== Q, about Tagg page ==

Mentioned this in the edit but probably better to make you aware. Should i remove the racism section entirely or integrate it into the bio in some way. Its not written with the best grammar and its a sensitive subject.

== Team template standardization  ==

Hey, I saw you changed the team templates from the new map cup to have the links. My thought in removing those was that those teams weren't notable enough to warrant a page. I suspect several were just mixes thrown together for the cup. As a result I don't think it makes sense to leave 16 red links on the page when those team pages will never be created.

== Website speed & loading times ==

Hey,

I've not been around much recently but the wiki seems crushingly slow for me at the moment, much worse than it used to be and especially so when editing pages.

Who is in charge of the server now Kaneco has left, and are there plans to improve the speed? (Unless it is just me for some strange reason)
