Reckoner is a map that has recently become increasingly popular in the PUG scene across North America, as well as Europe and Australia. The map is still in its beta stages of development, and author [phi] (who is also the creator of Sunshine) has stated that the map "may or may not be ready for an ESEA launch, but that's up to the players and their feedback".

Metalworks has been a long-time unpopular map in the rotation, and has been put up for potential replacement in map votes of seasons past. Prone to lengthy stalemates and DM-heavy playstyles, removing the map for Season 22 would end a nine-season streak for Metalworks.
