BBall is a competitive format in Team Fortress 2, it is played usually with teams of 2 players with the only allowed class being the Soldier. It is a gameplay modification for the game played on maps that have been purposely created or altered for the game mode. The mod focuses on allowing individuals to practice their rocket jumping and air shooting skills.
BBall is regarded as a good training area, similar to MGE, by skilled players.

There are lots of different BBall maps created by the community; but the most popular ones are BBall Ballin Sky and BBall CompTF. The maps work as a normal CTF map would in the sense that there's an intelligence and to capture the intel you must take it to the enemies hoop.

Tournaments
As there isn't that much preparation required for this gamemode, the cups and tournaments are very often organized, mainly on offseason as practise for the 6v6 seasons.
