Multi-national flags

Hello there,

We are currently using a flag template based on the wikipedia one, and currently the only flags we have available on our template are the following ones. It's possible to add new ones but not really feasible because you would need to add new unique abbreviatures and the current flags used by etf2l are a different template as ours so they would also have to be recreated with our template to be consistent. So in short it's possible but not worth it at this time. I might add a couple of the most used ones in the future, but there are a lot of custom etf2l flags that are irrelevant and/or used very sparsely --Kaneco (talk) 22:17, 23 January 2015 (CST)

bracket templates

ahh, Im sorry I didnt get back to you, haven't been on the wiki the last few days. Glad u found it. If you need anything else let me know or add me on steam to be faster next time. --Kaneco (talk) 10:09, 15 February 2015 (CST)

Creating new pages

How do I create new pages? It just goes to a 404 error page when I click on a red link.

Fixing all the class pages

Hello, a while back I added lots of redirects and what not for all the weapons (the listed ones) although some weapons aren't listed. I.E; the new shields for demoman, the new grenade launchers, etc.
If you could add these or get someone to, that would be great. It would also help with the integrity of this site. --Rezh (talk) 21:38, 24 April 2015 (CDT)

Server move

Hey I dont know if you noticed but we moved host today so some pages that were updated over the weekend were lost unfortunately, nothing I can do about this, hopefully It didn't ruin too much, I think I saw a couple updates by you over the weekend. --Kaneco (talk) 00:20, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

Yes I will take that down tomorrow probably when i have time to go over the site again. The server we got gives us a lot more room and resources to expand and there won't be any downtimes like there has been anytime soon I hope. --Kaneco (talk) 02:04, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

New Infoboxes

Efefknee, I was wondering if this new design/style to the infoboxes is going to be permanent. Personally, I would prefer the old style because it's more traditional to wikis in general. I've been working on a new map infobox also, which is just the old style with a black header (and some more info/headers), and was wondering if I should change it to fit this new style or just keep it as it is. Leave a message on my talk/discussion page for a reply, for now I'll just keep using the current style and implement it into some of the maps. Cheers --garlic (talk) 6:38, 22 July 2015 (GMT)

Re: Re: New Infoboxes

Cool (: thanks for the reply. I'll keep working on a new map infobox using the your new style, but with a black header. I'll implement the element into most of the map pages on the site once I'm finished. I've used a lot of your code for some of the other new infoboxes in my one to try and make them as similar as possible. If you've got anything to add just contact or add to it yourself c: . Thanks again for the reply --garlic (talk) 11:43pm, 22 July 2015 (GMT)

Re: Re: Re: Re: New Infoboxes

Hi Efefknee, just wanted to let you know that I’ve stopped working on a new map infobox, incase this was stopping/discouraging you from creating your own map infobox. The code was too advanced for me, and if you make it (if you plan to make one) I think it’ll fit better with the other new infoboxes you created and you’re more qualified. I might get back to it sometime into the future, but here is the skeleton I had with my template:

  • Title
    • Header (First column)
    • (Additional Info)
  • Map Name
    • Picture
  • Basic Information
    • Map Type
      • (If ‘Control Point’, specify with ‘(5CP)’)
    • Current Version
    • Developer(s)
    • No. of Stages/No. of Checkpoints
    • Release Date
    • Officially Added/Official Map
    • Download Link
  • Competitive Information
    • Primary Format(s)
    • Strong Classes/Weak Classes
  • Map Items
    • Health/Ammo

Hope the skeleton gives you some ideas if you were making a map infobox
Also good work on having the most changes on the wiki :) garlic (talk) 08:25, 25 July 2015 (UTC)

Glad to see it wasn't stopping you, but regardless it's a bit too much for me; especially after seeing the code for your new infobox templates! Of course I'll get back to it if I need to, you're free to do anything to it you want to; move it, change the code, add/remove stuff etc. The time put into it was actually really good for learning how to use some of the parameters properly, so not all of it has gone to waste!
As for Template:Abbr, the intended use is to show the details of an abbreviation as a tooltip, but when I used it in my new map infobox it had an unnecessary space character. The template is literally copy-pasted out of Wikipedia, so I'm sure there are a few more problems with it, but I think a better alternative is installing this MediaWiki extension, which I've already posted on Kaneco's talk page about. Thanks too for offering help! It's a really miniscule issue and it may just be an issue with my map infobox template.
PS: sorry for deleting from your talk page :P

Reply for MapLeagueInclusionTable

Thanks! This is a great idea. There are a few other things I have yet to do with it, and I’ll definitely put this in. Also sorry about not replying for Template:Abbr, it seems to be working now, as you said. I’ll check for errors if I get back to it. :D

6sTeamCard/Froyotechi55

Hi Efefknee (ffc?), from what b4nny told me, Froyotech are undecided on what classes ash and b4nny are playing (between scout and pocket) for i55, but they are not trying out any other players. Just to let you know I created Template:6sTeamCard/Froyotechi55 (and a /doc version) that just adds some text on the end saying the TBD players are only ash/b4nny (this is only used for the Insomnia55 page), rather than leaving it at just "TBD". I'm not 100% sure if there is a way for me to do this already with the current template, but if there isn't, I thought a good idea would be to have a type of reference or note option to add to the end of a player name. Up to you though! --garlic (talk) 05:18, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
PS: Congrats on becoming the top contributor :)

Cool, I added a note and removed the "TBD". --garlic (talk) 22:59, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

Re: Thanks!

To be fair, I should probably be the one thanking you, seeing you did a lion's share of the work in the matter of preparations for the event, while I've been slacking and just waltzed in when the event started — I hope I didn't step on your toes in any way. You are doing a superb job on the wiki, thanks for the immense contribution all around! —Atlas (talk) 17:54, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
