'''AsiaFortress''' is an Asian community website, hosting Team Fortress 2 [[6v6]] events for the Asia region. It is filled with insensitive pricks who do nothing but insult each other's mothers all day and are hostile to new players trying to enter the competitive community. They regular spam lenny face ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and dongre ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ while insulting newbs with words like tryhard and uninstall when newb try their best to improve and using inside circlejerk jokes to assert primate dominance such as "banana bus", "ryan bangbus" and "curry". Their curry is bad and does not taste good, unless you add salt.

If question the pros, they tell u that rage is good for u and only then u can improve. Otherwise u suck mother donkey. However getting players to top of SG scene by telling them to punch sand into 10/10 sand sculpture is not the way and they require nurturing and kind word to let them reach the top. Yes some

people improve by being rage at but others improve by jumping into a pug and sucking while the pros just tahan and tolerate, and the said player will decide on his own whether he wants to improve because he himself (usually) realise he suck, but in the end become pro and airshot u with cum. Dun tell them uninstall and call them pantat nobo when you were there in the first place.

Control point maps have 5 points. Either team has to cap 3 of the five points to win. Capping the midpoint results in the winning team to get a forward spawn that allows the rest of the team to attack the 2nd point quicker. In Highlander, CP maps usually recieve negative feedback due to stalemate situations that can last for an extensive amount of time. For example: On [[Process]], when either team is unable to move through choke and both medics don't have uber yet. The stalemate usually ends with a medic popping his uber.

Fuck you hirasagi, i know you're much better than me and you beat me 20-11 in mge but that doesn't mean i'm bad, i've been burning my ass off trying to improve and all you say is "DOWN" in caps when you beat me. Fuck off you little scrub, i got a few nice kills on you and just because i'm not in the competitive scene doesn't mean i'm a scrub or pubber, i've pugged before you dumb shit, eat a dick

Well i came close to beating you so get off your fucking high horse you piece of shit scrub and eat a dick

Stopwatch maps are won by finishing in a faster time than your opponent. You alternate defense / offense after each round. Time is measured by how long it took you to cap points. For example, if you cap all 5 points on a map in 8:37, the opponent must cap all the points in under 8:37 to win, and if you cap 3 points in 5:11, the opponent must either cap 3 points in under 5:11, or cap at least 4 points.

Highlander, a form of 9v9, is the largest competitive Team Fortress format. Its similarities to average public servers makes it an ideal starting point for new players, and its requirement that each team has one of every class means no matter what you like to play, there's a spot on the team for you.

Highlander Competitive Format

Highlander is a competitive format with nine players on a team, each representing a different class. The name of the format comes from the quote "There can only be one [of each class]" from Highlander, a movie released in 1986.

Control Points

Main Article: 5CP Control point maps have 5 points. For example: On Process, when either team is unable to move through choke and both medics don't have uber yet. The stalemate usually ends with a medic popping his uber.

For Example: Process, Gullywash, Snakewater

Stopwatch / Attack and Defend

For Example: Badwater, Upward, Steel

Stopwatch maps are won by finishing in a faster time than your opponent. You alternate defense / offense after each round. Time is measured by how long it took you to cap points. For example, if you cap all 5 points on a map in 8:37, the opponent must cap all the points in under 8:37 to win, and if you cap 3 points in 5:11, the opponent must either cap 3 points in under 5:11, or cap at least 4 points.

King of the Hill

Main Article: KOTH

For Example: Lakeside, Product, Ashville

In a King of The Hill map, there is one central point on the map. Each team must try to capture that point. When one team does capture the point, their 3:00 timer will begin to time down. When the other team captures the point, the other team's timer stops and their timer starts to tick down. The first team whose clock reaches 0 wins the round. It is important to note that if the point has capture progress on it when one team's timer reaches 0, the game will go into overtime, where the defending team must wait for the capture progress to reverse fully or the attacking team must capture the point to continue ticking down their own timer.

Note: The team that does NOT control the point will have faster re-spawn times.
